In the 5th minute, Lars Hammeren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elton John. The goal made the score 1-0. When EMhawks's Lars Hammeren in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cheeky Nuts United's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th minute Jerold Azpilcueta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Posadzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Hammeren in the 20th minute of play forced Cheeky Nuts United's goalkeeper Elton John to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Lars Hammeren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elton John saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EMhawks were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Cheeky Nuts United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jim Gustad took the corner. The corner led EMhawks's Jim Gustad to fire away a dangerous shot which Elton John despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 24 played minutes Cheeky Nuts United got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Christian Løvberg. After having played for 30 minutes, Arthur Askildsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EMhawks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arthur Askildsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute EMhawks were awarded a corner. Jim Gustad went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led EMhawks's Jim Gustad to fire away a dangerous shot which Elton John despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Herbert Posadzki came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Cheeky Nuts United's Christian Tveito. But to his dismay, Christian Tveito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 42ndth minute of the game Jerold Azpilcueta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EMhawks's Herbert Posadzki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lars Hammeren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nils-Christian Løvberg's late challenge caught a EMhawks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils-Christian Løvberg helped the player get up and apologised. 44 minutes into the game, one of Cheeky Nuts United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The score was 3-1 after a penalty in the 46th minute, where EMhawks:s Jim Gustad tricked Cheeky Nuts United:s Elton John with a difficult ball by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Tveito made a kick off. Herbert Posadzki made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Christian Tveito sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute, Jan-Arne Sara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aksel Røyrvik made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by EMhawks's Jerry Scotta. Elton John took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Askildsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Hammeren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th minute Daniele Massaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Posadzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars Hammeren in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elton John saved Cheeky Nuts United from getting behind. If Arthur Askildsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aksel Røyrvik during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80thth minute of the game Lars Hammeren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cheeky Nuts United's Elton John was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lars Hammeren scored 4-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elton John, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elton John showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Hammeren, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Lars Hammeren struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Elton John didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EMhawks. When the referee blew the final whistle, EMhawks could leave the field as winners, despite Cheeky Nuts United having more of the ball for most of the match.
