Lars Hammeren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Søren Valen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Lars Hammeren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Søren Valen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oslo City FC's Søren Valen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Hammeren in the 16th minute of play. Lars Hammeren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oslo City FC's goalkeeper Søren Valen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. EMhawks's Thomas Kielland quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Virgil Van Dijk, made in the 44th minute of the game. 45 minutes into the match, Lars Hammeren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Søren Valen. Oslo City FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars Hammeren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lars Hammeren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Thomas Kielland managed to get in a good position for a shot. EMhawks's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Kielland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Søren Valen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute Jim Gustad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Søren Valen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Hammeren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Søren Valen having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Lars Hammeren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Søren Valen was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. The EMhawks fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when EMhawks's Lars Hammeren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. EMhawks's Herbert Posadzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elof Gustafsson in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute of the match Oslo City FC got a corner. EMhawks's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joachim Engelund ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Joachim Engelund almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but EMhawks's Herbert Posadzki did a great save. The supporters of Oslo City FC booed when EMhawks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tore-Andre Seppola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Kielland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Søren Valen having to interfere. Tore-Andre Seppola hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded EMhawks left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Oslo City FC.
