In the 9th minute Lars Hammeren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Revheim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gard Bredesen got free with Herbert Posadzki in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19thth minute of the game Lars Hammeren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but POPODARA F.C's Thomas Revheim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gard Bredesen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Herbert Posadzki made a huge save. Thomas Revheim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Hammeren's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. If Jim Gustad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Hammeren took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Revheim. Thomas Revheim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 34th minute of the match EMhawks got a corner. POPODARA F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jim Gustad ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thomas Kielland was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Bendik Bekken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th match minute, POPODARA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Turøy to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the POPODARA F.C defense, Lars Hammeren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Revheim. The POPODARA F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Revheim should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Thomas Revheim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Hammeren, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Kristian Turøy got a throw-in 55 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Victor Hystad. EMhawks's Herbert Posadzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimas Amaro in the 57th minute of play. Thomas Revheim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Hammeren, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. EMhawks's Herbert Posadzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimas Amaro in the 63rd minute of play. Gard Bredesen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Posadzki having to interfere. Herbert Posadzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bendik Bekken in the 71st minute of the match. Lars Hammeren took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Revheim. Thomas Revheim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 80thth minute of the game Lars Hammeren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but POPODARA F.C's Thomas Revheim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victor Hystad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. POPODARA F.C's Andres Iniesta was substituted for Victor Hystad. With a little luck, POPODARA F.C's Thomas Revheim got control of the ball when Lars Hammeren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jerry Scotta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thomas Revheim. POPODARA F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of POPODARA F.C booed when EMhawks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Berg didn't get a good kick on the ball. POPODARA F.C's Ådne Svensen was substituted for Bendik Bekken. Thomas Berg kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Tor-Ivar Kalland charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tor-Ivar Kalland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes POPODARA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Tor-Ivar Kalland. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind POPODARA F.C's goalkeeper Thomas Revheim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
