Bennvar Nickler ran back to his position shaking his head. 15 minutes into the game, Johnny Nyström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Billesholm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Södertälje the free kick. After a rather tough play, Billesholm's Johnny Nyström got a free kick in the 15th minute. Jan Pihlberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Södertälje. Viktor Drewitz made in the 37th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gilbert Engström however managed to control. Bennvar Nickler might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Pihlberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bennvar Nickler ran back to his position shaking his head. Billesholm's Jan Pihlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Billesholm from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute Kléber Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baraxil Sarrate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

If Bennvar Nickler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bennvar Nickler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jan Pihlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bennvar Nickler in the 55th minute of play forced Billesholm's goalkeeper Jan Pihlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baraxil Sarrate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléber Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd match minute, Real Södertälje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Möllgren to maneuver through the defense. Real Södertälje made a substitution. After recieving a nice pass, Billesholm's Erling Haeger tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Billesholm made a substitution. For all the effort they put into the match, the Billesholm players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
