Sören Tunberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Wargön's goalkeeper Sören Tunberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Oskar Kinnman. Mikael Liberatore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ellis Schenck having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Liberatore in the 12th minute of play forced Zlatan BK's goalkeeper Ellis Schenck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Zdzislaw Liermann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wargön's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zlatan BK the free kick. In the 17th minute, Zdzislaw Liermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Wargön's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Steven came free, but Sören Tunberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Verner Holmstedt in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Wargön's Zdzislaw Liermann. Ellis Schenck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Liberatore in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Wargön's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Oskar Kinnman came free, but Sören Tunberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikael Liberatore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ellis Schenck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Sören Tunberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Kinnman, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Zlatan BK's zone, Mikael Liberatore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ellis Schenck came out of the goal and Mikael Liberatore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Zlatan BK booed when Wargön was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Archibaldo Velaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mikael Liberatore made a kick off. Ellis Schenck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdzislaw Liermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Oskar Kinnman in the 62nd minute of play forced Wargön's goalkeeper Sören Tunberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Karl-Oskar Kinnman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Tunberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikael Liberatore might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ellis Schenck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mikael Liberatore ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikael Liberatore got free with Ellis Schenck in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd match minute, Zlatan BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Verner Holmstedt to maneuver through the defense. Wargön made a substitution. Nils-Arne Nilsson replaced Artur Buba. Zlatan BK's Ubaldo Padro was substituted for Carl Beck. In the 73rd minute, Verner Holmstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zlatan BK's Ellis Schenck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Zlatan BK from getting a goal against them. Ubaldo Padro struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Sören Tunberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zlatan BK. Ellis Schenck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Liberatore in the 83rd minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Ubaldo Padro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zlatan BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Padro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reşat Sancaktar in the 87th minute of play forced Zlatan BK's goalkeeper Ellis Schenck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikael Liberatore's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Ellis Schenck skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mikael Liberatore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Ellis Schenck made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zlatan BK had won after a very even match.
