Jan Pihlberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ove Salkvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. Kléber Castro might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaac Jonasson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Jonasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Falkrans, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The BK Gubbhöft fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when BK Gubbhöft's Jonas Ahlin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Victor Blue's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Pihlberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th minute Jonas Ahlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Pihlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billesholm's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
