The Kumla BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fred Hellqvist should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Ola Lund notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Kumla BK's Fred Hellqvist. Fred Hellqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fred Hellqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Stål in the 15th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ola Lund in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fred Hellqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ola Lund sped through Kumla BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fred Hellqvist. The audience was convinced that Ola Lund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fred Hellqvist was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 30 minutes into the match, Kumla BK's goalkeeper Fred Hellqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Ove Stål. 30 minutes into the match, Sven-Ove Stål dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fred Hellqvist, 4-0. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 40 minutes into the match, Ola Lund notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Kumla BK's Fred Hellqvist. Fred Hellqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fred Hellqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ola Lund in the 44th minute. Ola Lund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Fred Hellqvist made a huge save. Garsås IF's Maicon Pereira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roger Larsson, made in the 46th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ola Lund in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fred Hellqvist saved Kumla BK from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ola Lund to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Ola Lund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kumla BK's Fred Hellqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fred Hellqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Lund in the 75th minute of the match. Fred Hellqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Stål, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. But to his dismay, Ola Lund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. The Kumla BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fred Hellqvist should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the game, Garsås IF's Sven-Ove Stål nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fred Hellqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. Ola Lund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Kumla BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Lund came free, but Fred Hellqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Garsås IF booed when Kumla BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörn Hult didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Edgard Monteiro came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Garsås IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Monteiro couldn't finish the play. Garsås IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
