Banan Balle made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Herbert Lipinski sent off a good shot on target. Banan Balle was a little too slow when Herbert Lipinski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. With a little luck, Mosjö Sportklubb's Banan Balle got control of the ball when Herbert Lipinski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute Nickolai Nickerson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Bergström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nickolai Nickerson in the 36th minute of play forced TEAM Hawkeye's goalkeeper Knut Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Herbert Lipinski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Banan Balle was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. TEAM Hawkeye made a substitution. Angel Recemill replaced Håkan Dahlberg. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Banan Balle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrik Lagerberg in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Banan Balle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nickolai Nickerson got free with Knut Bergström in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in TEAM Hawkeye's zone, Nickolai Nickerson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Knut Bergström came out of the goal and Nickolai Nickerson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TEAM Hawkeye's Knut Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorden De Cerpel in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match, Jorden De Cerpel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Knut Bergström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mosjö Sportklubb's Paul Danielsson got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Erik Danielsson struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Knut Bergström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mosjö Sportklubb.
