Banan Balle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Öman in the 8th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Mosjö Sportklubb's Nickolai Nickerson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Per-Erik Hjortberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute Cui Liang Yue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Banan Balle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Banan Balle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cui Liang Yue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 18 minutes, Kennet Albäck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Divide et impera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kennet Albäck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, one of Divide et impera:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Divide et impera. Per-Erik Hjortberg had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Nicholas Bokvist's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 37 minutes, Oskar Browall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Divide et impera and the Mosjö Sportklubb players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oskar Browall kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Divide et impera's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Nickolai Nickerson scored to the left of an out of position Per-Erik Hjortberg, making the score, 1-0. Robert Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nickolai Nickerson got free with Per-Erik Hjortberg in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cui Liang Yue was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Divide et impera's Cui Liang Yue nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Banan Balle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Cui Liang Yue could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Banan Balle made a huge save. In the 57thth minute of the game Nickolai Nickerson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Divide et impera's Per-Erik Hjortberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nickolai Nickerson in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per-Erik Hjortberg saved Divide et impera from getting behind. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Divide et impera's goalkeeper Per-Erik Hjortberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Banan Balle made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Ralf Öman sent off a good shot on target. Per-Erik Hjortberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Bokvist in the 70th minute of play. Nickolai Nickerson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Per-Erik Hjortberg having to make a save. 84 minutes into the match, Cui Liang Yue notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mosjö Sportklubb's Banan Balle. Banan Balle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Divide et impera made a substitution. Klas Åström replaced Deci Liberatore. Divide et impera's Ingvar Möllgren was substituted for Kennet Albäck. Mosjö Sportklubb's Paul Danielsson was substituted for Gilbert Alströmmer. Mosjö Sportklubb's Elliott Gustafsson was substituted for Nickolai Nickerson. Mosjö Sportklubb made a substitution. Wictor Tinglöv replaced Robert Bergman. The audience was convinced that Jorden De Cerpel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per-Erik Hjortberg was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
