Ciudad Tao FC were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Malmö White Knights's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alonzo Hermansson took the corner. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Jairo Malheiro sped through Malmö White Knights's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Johnny Banks. Ciudad Tao FC's Jairo Malheiro got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
