Despite this Wiktor Ekström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. IFK Fjärås's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by J.J Jaago in the 15th minute. Börge Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Matej Hnilica in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wiktor Ekström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Júlio Castro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Matej Hnilica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wiktor Ekström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Åsbro Flåsegutter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Bäckman to maneuver through the defense. Kristoffer Västerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdzislaw Barniszke in the 43rd minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Örjan Björk was the one to do the kick off. Jonas Lundin hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. A collision led to IFK Fjärås getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jimmie Ekström hit a great ball. Kristoffer Västerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Örjan Björk in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to IFK Fjärås getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. J.J Jaago hit a great ball. Åsbro Flåsegutter made a substitution. Kent Ahlquist replaced Jonas Lundin. After 64 played minutes IFK Fjärås got a freekick which was hit by J.J Jaago. After having played for 73 minutes, Örjan Björk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åsbro Flåsegutter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Örjan Björk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76thth minute of the game Örjan Björk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK Fjärås's Kristoffer Västerberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 77 minutes IFK Fjärås's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alf-Inge Sørum who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Åsbro Flåsegutter's corner Alf-Inge Sørum fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kristoffer Västerberg quite easily take care of the ball. IFK Fjärås's Kristoffer Västerberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save IFK Fjärås from getting a goal against them. The corner went over the outstretched arms of IFK Fjärås's goalie and right to Júlio Castro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. IFK Fjärås's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 92 minutes into the game, IFK Fjärås's Matej Hnilica nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wiktor Ekström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Åsbro Flåsegutter players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
