Lennart Larsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Per Mårtensson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Wingspan's Kristian Modig did a great save. A collision led to FC Wingspan getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ulf Lenberg hit a great ball. Per-Olof Collin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Kristian Modig made a huge save. Kristian Modig made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Per-Olof Collin sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gwidon Babicki to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Adrian Wassenius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
