The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gottfrid Stenman in the 3rd minute of play forced Segelbut IF's goalkeeper Cornel Luncaniță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornel Luncaniță was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Cacey Sharp capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cacey Sharp really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Zero Hedge's Marco Frayssinet got a free kick in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Zero Hedge's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Munio came free, but Tom Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Segelbut IF's Cornel Luncaniță got control of the ball when Cacey Sharp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tom Wall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Ekelund in the 12th minute of the match. Tom Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Ekelund in the 17th minute of play. Gottfrid Stenman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Cacey Sharp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Segelbut IF's Cornel Luncaniță was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cornel Luncaniță stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cacey Sharp's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Harry Deckberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tom Wall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Zero Hedge's Cacey Sharp slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cornel Luncaniță. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. In the 29th minute, Cacey Sharp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cornel Luncaniță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacey Sharp in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Cacey Sharp made a precise shot to the right of Cornel Luncaniță. Segelbut IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Cornel Luncaniță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacey Sharp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornel Luncaniță made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cacey Sharp in the 38th minute. Segelbut IF's Cornel Luncaniță proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Segelbut IF from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Segelbut IF's goalkeeper Cornel Luncaniță, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cacey Sharp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alf Ekelund was the one to do the kick off. Tom Wall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Deckberg in the 51st minute of the match. Cacey Sharp scored 4-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornel Luncaniță, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Zero Hedge's Orlando Mangueira got a free kick in the 57th minute. Zero Hedge made a substitution. Cecilio Fanuco replaced Cacey Sharp. Orlando Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Cecilio Fanuco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cornel Luncaniță having to make a save. Cornel Luncaniță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Fanuco in the 72nd minute of play. Gustav Hedlund made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Zero Hedge's Jonatan Valström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bubu Denat in the 76th minute of play forced Segelbut IF's goalkeeper Cornel Luncaniță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segelbut IF's Cornel Luncaniță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bubu Denat in the 76th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Cecilio Fanuco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornel Luncaniță was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 86thth minute of the game Bubu Denat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Segelbut IF's Cornel Luncaniță was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cecilio Fanuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Segelbut IF booed when Zero Hedge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Frayssinet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segelbut IF's Cornel Luncaniță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Fanuco in the 96th minute of play. Segelbut IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
