Egil Byström kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Per Tunström scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils Tunander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nils Tunander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Per Tunström went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 26th match minute, Vilbergen Boys Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Byström to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Vilbergen Boys Club's Magne Gunnarsson threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Osvald Mattsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 29th minute, Osvald Mattsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vilbergen Boys Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Per Tunström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nils Tunander having to make a save. Vilbergen Boys Club's Nils Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Tunström in the 33rd minute of play. Magne Gunnarsson made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Su Saknis sent off a good shot on target. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Magne Gunnarsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Rönnöfors FF's Sigvard Biörnberg was substituted for Pieter Koole. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christoffer Vestbø was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Edwin Ahlstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Oskar Lundin came free, but Magne Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per Tunström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per Tunström in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils Tunander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Per Tunström came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Rönnöfors FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Tunström couldn't finish the play. Sven-Oskar Lundin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magne Gunnarsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 72nd minute Per Tunström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Tunström in the 79th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Vilbergen Boys Club's goal looked a bit too open when Per Tunström came free, but Nils Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Edwin Ahlstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 88 minutes, Per Tunström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rönnöfors FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per Tunström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Per Tunström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rönnöfors FF's Per Tunström got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christoffer Vestbø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Gunnarsson having to interfere. There was no doubt that Vilbergen Boys Club were the better team. Vilbergen Boys Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
