Sven-Edvin Unesson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Eric Soned skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Ancelotti in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Börje Blomqvist saved Fulham Broadway FC from getting behind. Fulham Broadway FC's Filip Tingelholm shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 36th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eric Soned but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Ancelotti in the 37th minute of play forced Fulham Broadway FC's goalkeeper Börje Blomqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Morgan Möllgren got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 43rd match minute, Fulham Broadway FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixten Norberg to maneuver through the defense. After 44 played minutes, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Jaroslaw Filanowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Börje Blomqvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Eric Soned showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Nordstedt in the 96th minute of the match. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Eric Soned played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Unesson in the 97th minute of play.
