Patrik Skark started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Blue Angels's goal looked a bit too open when Petter Skarkman came free, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Blue Angels's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Michael Näver was slow to take the kick. During this time Protegéerna's players had a chance to rest. Protegéerna's Michael Näver was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Protegéerna getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Arman Lingren hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Blue Angels's Aleksandar Ivanov broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Alf Björk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingemar Åberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Skark in the 21st minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Skark came free, but Ingemar Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Ingemar Åberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Angel-Enrique Comizzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrik Söderlund in the 23rd minute of play. Oscar Lindström made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Protegéerna's Cosme Demesio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Skarkman in the 26th minute of play forced Blue Angels's goalkeeper Angel-Enrique Comizzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes of play, Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angel-Enrique Comizzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute, Markus Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Protegéerna's Ingemar Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Berg in the 36th minute of play. In the 44th minute Petter Skarkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Oscar Lindström threw the ball into play from the sideline. Protegéerna's Cosme Demesio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petter Skarkman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Blue Angels's goalkeeper Angel-Enrique Comizzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Python. The supporters of Protegéerna booed when Blue Angels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Lindström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel-Enrique Comizzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to Blue Angels getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Oscar Lindström hit a great ball. Protegéerna's Jonny Ånger was substituted for Yasen Súlov. Protegéerna's Bo Låsberg was substituted for Fernando Arango. After 69 played minutes Blue Angels got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Lindström. The supporters of Protegéerna booed when Blue Angels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Lindström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blue Angels made a substitution. Ted Björk replaced Robin Söder. Blue Angels's Sebastian Hausner was substituted for Oscar Lindström. In the 78th match minute, Blue Angels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Lindström to maneuver through the defense. When Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jan Persson in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Angel-Enrique Comizzo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Petter Skarkman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Angel-Enrique Comizzo came out and tried to block the shot, but Petter Skarkman slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 93rd minute. The Protegéerna supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Protegéerna would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
