In the 28th match minute, Fulham Broadway FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnny Ahlstedt to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fulham Broadway FC's zone, Karl-Ove Rolfsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frinnaryd's Karl-Ove Rolfsson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Walter Rudkvist in the 34 minute of the game. Börje Blomqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chet Baker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filip Tingelholm kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fulham Broadway FC's goalkeeper Börje Blomqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fulham Broadway FC's Börje Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egil Sjögren in the 44th minute of play. Jan Lindström made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Sven-Edvin Unesson sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Egil Sjögren came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Börje Blomqvist could save by the left post. In the 61st minute Sven-Edvin Unesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Frinnaryd's Karl-Ove Rolfsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Börje Blomqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Fulham Broadway FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Egil Sjögren 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. After some careless play in the Frinnaryd defense, Sven-Edvin Unesson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Lindström. The Frinnaryd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Lindström should have stopped the shot. In the 80th match minute, Fulham Broadway FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Falkrantz to maneuver through the defense. Jan Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Nordstedt in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Peter Falkrantz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans Söderqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Börje Blomqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hans Söderqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle sounded Frinnaryd left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fulham Broadway FC.
