Chen Ao Fan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Folke Vallman was substituted for Valentin Elg. Skövde AIK's Hjalmar Hägert was substituted for Lu Rong Yi. After taking down the ball on Skövde AIK's corner Henrik Lönn fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eric Soned quite easily take care of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Ancelotti came free, but Karl-Erik Norström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chants of Skövde AIK echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Étoile Sportive Du Sahel had held the ball for most of the match.
