Eric Soned made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Odén in the 3rd minute of play. Ian Odén's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Soned read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Takis Zafiriou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Njurenius in the 17th minute of the match. After 22 minutes of play, Arvidsjaur FF's Ian Odén made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Soned was left in no man's land by his defense there! Takis Zafiriou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Morgan Möllgren in the 26th minute. After 31 played minutes Étoile Sportive Du Sahel got a freekick which was hit by Jim Njurenius. Eric Soned made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herodes Coya in the 36th minute of play. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel made a substitution. Henning Ekström replaced Folke Vallman. Arvidsjaur FF's Takis Zafiriou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Njurenius in the 41st minute of play. Herodes Coya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axel Björk hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The Étoile Sportive Du Sahel players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arvidsjaur FF were winning 0-2.

After a rather tough play, Arvidsjaur FF's Martin Borre got a free kick in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the game, Herodes Coya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arvidsjaur FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Étoile Sportive Du Sahel the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Herodes Coya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Arvidsjaur FF's goal looked a bit too open when Radu Fetea came free, but Takis Zafiriou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 played minutes Étoile Sportive Du Sahel got a freekick which was hit by Yu Kun Yan. The long shot by Zbyszek Pliszka in the 63rd minute really tested Eric Soned's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Takis Zafiriou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radu Fetea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radu Fetea in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Takis Zafiriou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Takis Zafiriou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radu Fetea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 minutes Arvidsjaur FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henning Ekström who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Morgan Möllgren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arvidsjaur FF's Takis Zafiriou did a great save. Morgan Möllgren struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Takis Zafiriou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Étoile Sportive Du Sahel. Takis Zafiriou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radu Fetea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Arvidsjaur FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Henning Ekström took the corner. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Henning Ekström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Takis Zafiriou in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Arvidsjaur FF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
