Elliott Drewitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute, Ralf Hultstrand left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stoke FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Marcelinho Motta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Jan Lindström made a huge save. In the 26th minute Egil Sjögren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliott Drewitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elliott Drewitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Ove Rolfsson in the 30th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Stoke FF's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Andersson came free, but Elliott Drewitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Marcelinho Motta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jan Lindström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egil Sjögren in the 41st minute of play forced Stoke FF's goalkeeper Elliott Drewitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The Stoke FF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Frinnaryd were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
