A beautiful save bye Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goalie prevented a goal. Eric Soned showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Python in the 5th minute of the match. Protegéerna's Cosme Demesio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Moise Dordea in the 6 minute of the game. Petter Skarkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ingemar Åberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Njurenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingemar Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Ancelotti in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Valentin Elg got a free kick in the 11th minute. After some careless play in the Étoile Sportive Du Sahel defense, Petter Skarkman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Soned. The Étoile Sportive Du Sahel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Soned should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute Carlo Ancelotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingemar Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Étoile Sportive Du Sahel got a corner. Protegéerna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Folke Vallman ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 28th minute, Petter Skarkman made a precise shot to the right of Eric Soned. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 33rd minute, Petter Skarkman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Protegéerna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 38 minutes into the match, Petter Skarkman notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Eric Soned. Eric Soned was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Henning Ekström was substituted for Folke Vallman. Ingemar Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Njurenius in the 45th minute of play. Protegéerna's Ossi Eloranta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Moise Dordea, made in the 47th minute of the game. After 48 minutes of play, Protegéerna's Guido Python made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Soned was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Étoile Sportive Du Sahel players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Protegéerna were winning 0-5.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petter Skarkman to strike the kick off in the second half. Ingemar Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Ancelotti in the 53rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Guido Python took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Eric Soned to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosme Demesio during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Protegéerna's Cosme Demesio got a free kick in the 60th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Moise Dordea in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Protegéerna's Ossi Eloranta. In the 63rd minute Petter Skarkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Soned saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petter Skarkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ingemar Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Ancelotti, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Söderlund came free, but Eric Soned reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes in the game, Guido Python fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eric Soned having to interfere. Ingemar Åberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Ancelotti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Carlo Ancelotti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ingemar Åberg was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. When Michael Näver came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Protegéerna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Näver couldn't finish the play. After 79 played minutes Protegéerna got a freekick which was hit by Ulrik Söderlund. Protegéerna's Ingemar Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Ancelotti in the 80th minute of play. Eric Soned made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Persson in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute Petter Skarkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Soned saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingemar Åberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Ancelotti in the 87th minute of the match. In the 99th minute, Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. The Étoile Sportive Du Sahel supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Protegéerna's performance. The match ended with a win for Protegéerna.
