Sven-Olof Gummeson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Nordstedt in the 27th minute of the match. When Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Sven-Edvin Unesson sped through Mantorp's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sven-Olof Gummeson. After some careless play in the Mantorp defense, Sven-Edvin Unesson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Olof Gummeson. The Mantorp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Olof Gummeson should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mantorp's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Gummeson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Mantorp's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Unesson came free, but Sven-Olof Gummeson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Olof Gummeson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Edvin Unesson went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Börje Blomqvist was a little too slow when Bernt Kihlberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 6-1. A hard shot 64 in the game by Aaron Lundqvist from a close distance when the talented Börje Blomqvist managed to make a qualified save. Fulham Broadway FC's players were relieved. The attack was good, but when Aaron Lundqvist in the 64th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Mantorp's Sven-Olof Gummeson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Nordstedt in the 68th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rudolf Nordstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Olof Gummeson was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Fulham Broadway FC were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Mantorp's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sixten Norberg took the corner. Rudolf Nordstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fulham Broadway FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
