Bernt Löfdahl was slow to take the kick. During this time Stockholm IF's players had a chance to rest. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albert Kock to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, McDonald Fries mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stockholm IF and the Schmeissen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Sandberg got free with Qin Ting Peng in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Nordström in the 58th minute of play forced Schmeissen FC's goalkeeper Jarl Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
