Qin Ting Peng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Albäck in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute Viktor Albäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qin Ting Peng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Stockholm IF's Rudolf Jonsson got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 15 played minutes Garphyttan got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Wennerquist. Garphyttan's Erik Skog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Dalmau in the 16th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Verner Ståhlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Skog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Skog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Löfdahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Rähim Sterling made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 30thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Qin Ting Peng would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 31st match minute, Stockholm IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Jonsson to maneuver through the defense. Michael Kvalfält struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Qin Ting Peng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garphyttan. When Stockholm IF's Kristoffer Bjurström in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Rähim Sterling came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Garphyttan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rähim Sterling couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Stockholm IF's Qin Ting Peng got control of the ball when Donato de Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erik Skog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Oskar Aleberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erik Skog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Oskar Aleberg in the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kristoffer Bjurström made a kick off. In the 60th minute Donato de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qin Ting Peng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute Karl-Oskar Aleberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Skog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stockholm IF's Hermengildo Dalmau got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
