He walked away shaking his head. Asko Kuul's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Qin Ting Peng firmly grabbed it by the left post. Carl-Chester Vallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Holmgren in the 26th minute of play. VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Holmgren in the 33rd minute of play. With a little luck, Stockholm IF's Qin Ting Peng got control of the ball when Olov Johnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carl-Chester Vallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Löfdahl in the 40th minute of the match. Qin Ting Peng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Johnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Kristoffer Bjurström scored 0-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carl-Chester Vallgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hermengildo Dalmau kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kristoffer Bjurström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Kristoffer Bjurström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carl-Chester Vallgren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for VBL Stockholm. VBL Stockholm:s Carl-Chester Vallgren showed great skill when he stopped Krzysztof Bobrowski:s penalty. Carl-Chester Vallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Holmgren in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute Olov Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qin Ting Peng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olov Johnsson in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Qin Ting Peng saved Stockholm IF from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Johnsson in the 88th minute of play forced Stockholm IF's goalkeeper Qin Ting Peng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bo Brun made in the 92nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bernt Löfdahl however managed to control. VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save VBL Stockholm from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Stockholm IF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
