Sid Barton made a great header on Mordham FC's corner, it was just that Arrows Academy FC's Ged Nightingale managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 7th minute Gary Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ged Nightingale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Mordham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Piechna came free, but Tiger Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrice Féral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ged Nightingale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 21st minute Juan Guillem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiger Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Mordham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Bakker came free, but Tiger Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guy Hogg in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiger Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, Wen Jie Ting had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiger Kahn. Mordham FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wen Jie Ting was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Arrows Academy FC booed when Mordham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremy Horseman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danny Bartlett hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes, Mordham FC's Sid Barton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ged Nightingale came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mordham FC reached it. The audience was convinced that Grzegorz Piechna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiger Kahn was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 47thth minute of the game Fabrice Féral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arrows Academy FC's Ged Nightingale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Grzegorz Piechna made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Mordham FC's goalkeeper Tiger Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guy Hogg. Hugo Bakker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Tiger Kahn made a huge save. After some careless play in the Mordham FC defense, Hugo Bakker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiger Kahn. The Mordham FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiger Kahn should have stopped the shot. Ged Nightingale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gary Byrne in the 56th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Arrows Academy FC's Grzegorz Piechna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tiger Kahn. Tiger Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Tiger Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bryan Barron in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simeon Broadbent came free, but Ged Nightingale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrice Féral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ged Nightingale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Mordham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Piechna came free, but Tiger Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grzegorz Piechna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Tiger Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Arrows Academy FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Juan Guillem hit a great ball. When Gary Byrne came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Mordham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gary Byrne couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, Fabrice Féral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mordham FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Piechna in the 84th minute of play forced Mordham FC's goalkeeper Tiger Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hugo Bakker came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Arrows Academy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Bakker couldn't finish the play. Ged Nightingale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabrice Féral went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Tiger Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Piechna, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Arrows Academy FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
