After a defensive mix-up in Coventry Wasps's zone, Ulysses Madureira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Syd Cullen came out of the goal and Ulysses Madureira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Ferrara came free, but Ariel Leguizamón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Kristian Markham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
