The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Clive Blacksmith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Didi Tondu, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Chippenham's Vernon Homes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Frank Pearce in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. FC LIVERPOOL's Jez Toulson got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Chippenham's goal looked a bit too open when Didi Tondu came free, but Clive Blacksmith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Pearce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregory Brent in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, FC LIVERPOOL's goalkeeper Frank Pearce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregory Brent. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chippenham's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Burhan Rorimpandey was slow to take the kick. During this time FC LIVERPOOL's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to FC LIVERPOOL's Controller Junel getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 23 minutes into the match, FC LIVERPOOL's goal looked a bit too open when Élie Germond came free, but Frank Pearce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chippenham's Clive Blacksmith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Lyons in the 24th minute of play. Jez Toulson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Pearce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Élie Germond, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Jez Toulson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC LIVERPOOL's Frank Pearce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save FC LIVERPOOL from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, FC LIVERPOOL's Frank Pearce got control of the ball when 杨远益 tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregory Brent made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Didi Tondu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clive Blacksmith saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Jez Toulson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC LIVERPOOL's supporters rose to their feet, but Jez Toulson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clive Blacksmith breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chippenham's Kasey Hinchcliffe was substituted for Calum Cardwell. In the 58th minute Gregory Brent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Pearce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chippenham's Élie Germond got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Chippenham made a substitution. Kris Morning replaced Gregory Brent. FC LIVERPOOL's Rupert Bear was substituted for Burhan Rorimpandey.
