With a little luck, Shadwell Town FC's Kimetz Pejuan got control of the ball when Rowan Savage tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Brixton Celtics's Rowan Savage in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 38th minute of the match Brixton Celtics got a corner. Shadwell Town FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roger Rognerud ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Brixton Celtics's corner Roger Rognerud fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kimetz Pejuan quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel de Castro in the 39th minute of play forced Brixton Celtics's goalkeeper Iturri Zalaca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shadwell Town FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Brixton Celtics's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yan Fernandes took the corner. Shadwell Town FC's Joe Oliver was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iturri Zalaca in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 43 minutes into the match, Shadwell Town FC's goalkeeper Kimetz Pejuan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rowan Savage. After the first half Shadwell Town FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Brixton Celtics booed when Shadwell Town FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osmar Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Brayford in the 56th minute of play forced Shadwell Town FC's goalkeeper Kimetz Pejuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marek Brayford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marek Brayford blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kimetz Pejuan having to make a save. In the 64th minute, Fraser Lovett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danny Parks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Iturri Zalaca made a huge save. Iturri Zalaca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel de Castro went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel de Castro in the 77th minute of play forced Brixton Celtics's goalkeeper Iturri Zalaca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by CJ Boland during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
