But to his dismay, Fabrício Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 46 minutes into the match, Beech United's goal looked a bit too open when Dean Speight came free, but Lance Walton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstanty Dubiel in the 51st minute of play forced Beech United's goalkeeper Lance Walton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colin Le Saux hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 59th match minute, Beech United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colin Le Saux to maneuver through the defense. Beech United's Lance Walton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seth Gill in the 64th minute of play. Beech United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rupert Rundle in the 67th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Juventus Telford's goalie and right to Rupert Rundle. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Juventus Telford's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Fabrício Cordeiro took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luizinho Paranaense. Luizinho Paranaense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Juventus Telford's goalkeeper Luizinho Paranaense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Beech United made a substitution. Den Dimmock replaced Colin Le Saux. 82 minutes into the match, Beech United's goal looked a bit too open when José Liamthaisong came free, but Lance Walton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Beech United's goalkeeper Lance Walton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Liamthaisong. In the 87th minute, Den Dimmock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Beech United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Juventus Telford had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
