Denis Walmsley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rowan Savage, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Rowan Savage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Denis Walmsley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Walmsley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rowan Savage in the 15th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Brixton Celtics got a freekick which was hit by Calvin Elliot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Rowell got free with Iturri Zalaca in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iturri Zalaca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tod McCartney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Brixton Celtics's Iturri Zalaca got control of the ball when Mark Rowell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iturri Zalaca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 43 played minutes Brixton Celtics got a freekick which was hit by Will Laurie. Igor Chernov was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. Brixton Celtics made a substitution. Marek Brayford replaced Rowan Savage. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iturri Zalaca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Deacon, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Tod McCartney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stickleback Utd Xl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tod McCartney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denis Walmsley made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when CJ Boland sent off a good shot on target. Iturri Zalaca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Rowell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ian Deacon took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iturri Zalaca. Iturri Zalaca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When the referee ended the match the Stickleback Utd Xl players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
