In the 6th minute Sean Beaumont shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Blacknell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th match minute, Leicester Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denzil Howarth to maneuver through the defense. Will Lemerond hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Grant Blacknell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Fernandes in the 11th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the match Shadwell Town FC got a corner. Leicester Lions's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yan Fernandes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Leicester Lions's goalie and right to Ştefan Trifu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Leicester Lions's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 19th minute, Şükür Hagi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 20 played minutes Shadwell Town FC got a freekick which was hit by Yan Fernandes. 22 minutes into the match, Shadwell Town FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Darling came free, but Kimetz Pejuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Gabriel de Castro made a precise shot to the right of Grant Blacknell. Leicester Lions's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Shadwell Town FC's goalkeeper Kimetz Pejuan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Grant Blacknell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Trifu in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bobby Pirés in the 39th minute of play forced Shadwell Town FC's goalkeeper Kimetz Pejuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Tony Cheeseman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Şükür Hagi came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Leicester Lions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şükür Hagi couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel de Castro to strike the kick off in the second half. Grant Blacknell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benny White kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Gabriel de Castro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shadwell Town FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Grant Blacknell came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Shadwell Town FC's Sean Beaumont. But to his dismay, Sean Beaumont quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michal Budzyn during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Michal Budzyn hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Ştefan Trifu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grant Blacknell was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Shadwell Town FC's Danny Parks was substituted for Gabriel de Castro. 82 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Beaumont came free, but Grant Blacknell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grant Blacknell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Trifu in the 84th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Parks came free, but Grant Blacknell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Ştefan Trifu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ştefan Trifu hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Shadwell Town FC fully deserved thier win.
