Stickleback Utd Xl's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gone With the Win the free kick. A collision led to Stickleback Utd Xl getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Francis Curtis hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Rory Jobson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denis Walmsley was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Denis Walmsley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuan Xing Lin in the 13th minute of play. Gone With the Win's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rory Jobson in the 14th minute. The corner ended in Keiran Tubbs almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Stickleback Utd Xl's Denis Walmsley did a great save. The corner led Gone With the Win's Rory Jobson to fire away a dangerous shot which Denis Walmsley despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Stickleback Utd Xl made a substitution. David Sheringham replaced Cliff Flower. Stickleback Utd Xl's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tod McCartney in the 25th minute. The corner ended in Tod McCartney almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gone With the Win's La Mano did a great save. La Mano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tod McCartney in the 29th minute of the match. La Mano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tod McCartney showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. Denis Walmsley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Everett, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Stickleback Utd Xl's zone, Corey Taylor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Walmsley came out of the goal and Corey Taylor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stickleback Utd Xl's Mark Rowell got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stickleback Utd Xl's Nicholas Poole was substituted for Francis Curtis. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tod McCartney was the one to do the kick off. Stickleback Utd Xl were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Gone With the Win's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tod McCartney took the corner. After taking down the ball on Stickleback Utd Xl's corner Tod McCartney fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and La Mano quite easily take care of the ball. La Mano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tod McCartney in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Stickleback Utd Xl's goal looked a bit too open when Keiran Tubbs came free, but Denis Walmsley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gone With the Win made a substitution. Daud Kunaefi replaced Rory Jobson. A collision led to Gone With the Win getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. 傅浩鹏 hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corey Taylor in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denis Walmsley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Denis Walmsley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daud Kunaefi, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Tod McCartney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Mano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasey Bond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Yuan Xing Lin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gone With the Win played a much better game than Stickleback Utd Xl and deserved their victory. The Stickleback Utd Xl players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
