A hard shot by Luke Welch from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Carl Norman's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Beckenham Town's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Fabrício Cordeiro scored to the left of an out of position Carl Norman, making the score, 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Beckenham Town's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrício Cordeiro came free, but Carl Norman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrício Cordeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Carl Norman made a huge save. In the 31st minute, Florencio Ixidor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beckenham Town fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Lance Walton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Ixidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beckenham Town's Carl Norman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrício Cordeiro in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabrício Cordeiro to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Beech United's Fabrício Cordeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carl Norman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Beech United were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Beckenham Town's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luke Welch took the corner. Carl Norman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Cordeiro in the 56th minute of play. Beech United's Fabrício Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Cordeiro in the 63rd minute of play forced Beckenham Town's goalkeeper Carl Norman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabrício Cordeiro in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carl Norman saved Beckenham Town from getting behind. The supporters of Beckenham Town booed when Beech United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachary Kosiorek didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Beech United's Lance Walton got control of the ball when Florencio Ixidor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patrick Wootton hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Lance Walton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Ixidor in the 75th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Beckenham Town got a freekick which was hit by Pavol Stano. When Zachary Kosiorek came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Beech United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zachary Kosiorek couldn't finish the play. Florencio Ixidor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lance Walton came out and tried to block the shot, but Florencio Ixidor slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 86th minute. Beckenham Town made a substitution. Jasper Attwood replaced Damon Stamp. Dariusz Rogoz made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Beckenham Town's Pavol Stano. In the 91st minute Glen Langsford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Walton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fabrício Cordeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carl Norman was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Beckenham Town left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Beech United.
