Torcato Avelar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tobias Júdice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Viseu United's goalkeeper Torcato Avelar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Viseu United's Torcato Avelar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Aparecido in the 26th minute of play. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Magno Aparecido sped through Viseu United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Torcato Avelar. With a little luck, Viseu United's Torcato Avelar got control of the ball when Magno Aparecido tried to sneak it across the goal line. Torcato Avelar was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Magno Aparecido capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Magno Aparecido really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Viseu United! In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Minho FC. Magno Aparecido stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Torcato Avelar. 5-0. In the 45th minute Magno Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torcato Avelar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Minho FC's Yu Ran Zhen pulled a muscle in his leg after 47 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Benedito Santana fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viseu United's protests and gave Benedito Santana a yellow card for diving instead. Benedito Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After 48 played minutes Viseu United got a freekick which was hit by Benedito Santana. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Tobias Júdice made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademar Passos in the 55th minute of play forced Minho FC's goalkeeper André Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Viseu United were awarded a corner. Alexandre Amaro went to the cornerflag to take it. Lucílio Cunha made a great header on Viseu United's corner, it was just that Minho FC's André Figueiredo managed to reach the ball for a save. Ivo Mourato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torcato Avelar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. With 62 minutes on the clock, Torcato Guterres commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Torcato Guterres kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Viseu United's zone, Yu Ran Zhen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torcato Avelar came out of the goal and Yu Ran Zhen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Minho FC made a substitution. The corner led Minho FC's Yu Ran Zhen to fire away a dangerous shot which Torcato Avelar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Torcato Avelar came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Minho FC's Januário Severiano. But to his dismay, Januário Severiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Yu Ran Zhen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torcato Avelar having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Januário Severiano in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torcato Avelar saved Viseu United from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Januário Severiano in the 83rd minute of play forced Viseu United's goalkeeper Torcato Avelar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Viseu United defense, Januário Severiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torcato Avelar. The Viseu United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torcato Avelar should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Viseu United booed when Minho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yu Ran Zhen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Januário Severiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viseu United's Torcato Avelar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Januário Severiano took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torcato Avelar. Torcato Avelar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0.
