In the 21st minute of the match, Gregório Neiva tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jon Oblak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregório Neiva got free with Jon Oblak in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Victorino Oto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andarilhos's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Oto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Bonadona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Andarilhos defense, Gregório Neiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jon Oblak. The Andarilhos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jon Oblak should have stopped the shot. Mira United FC's Eriberto Bonadona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Oto in the 37th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Victorino Oto notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mira United FC's Eriberto Bonadona. Eriberto Bonadona was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregório Neiva was the one to do the kick off. When Gregório Neiva came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Mira United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregório Neiva couldn't finish the play. Eriberto Bonadona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Oto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Gregório Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eriberto Bonadona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Oto, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Gonzalo Montiel made in the 70th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Joaquim Freire however managed to control. Antony Bruno in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eriberto Bonadona, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 80th minute, Victorino Oto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eriberto Bonadona. The goal made the score 1-2. Andarilhos's Fu Han Qiang was substituted for Victorino Oto. Mira United FC's Jan-Erik Vestberg was substituted for Nel Ybarbo. 92 minutes into the match, Gregório Neiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jon Oblak. Andarilhos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregório Neiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
