Gusmão Dias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Montay's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Montay in the 34th minute of play forced SC Serrinho's goalkeeper Gusmão Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeu Seabra hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The SC Serrinho fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when SC Serrinho's Hermínio Barbosa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermínio Barbosa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Campus Douro Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Calçada to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Campus Douro Academy's Manuel Caetano got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Zarco Severiano struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Eliseu Bragança didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Campus Douro Academy's Eliseu Bragança played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Veronica in the 67th minute of play. Gusmão Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Montay, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Zarco Severiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Campus Douro Academy made a substitution. Milosz Kissel replaced Rui Calçada. SC Serrinho's Alfredo Laureano was substituted for Zarco Severiano. Eliseu Bragança made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Veronica in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, SC Serrinho's goalkeeper Gusmão Dias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milosz Kissel. Campus Douro Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by André Pestana in the 90th minute. Campus Douro Academy's André Pestana was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gusmão Dias in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gusmão Dias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Montay in the 91st minute. Campus Douro Academy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
