Rui Calçada started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Campus Douro Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Rosen came free, but Eliseu Bragança reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Pinheiro lost his temper 6 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 6 minutes into the game, one of Pinhote FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pinhote FC:s Ni Guang Yong showed great skill when he stopped Rui Calçada:s penalty. 7 minutes into the match, Rui Calçada notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pinhote FC's Ni Guang Yong. Ni Guang Yong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute, Rodolfo Montay made a precise shot to the right of Ni Guang Yong. Pinhote FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Eliseu Bragança took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmie Nyemanting, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timmie Nyemanting got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gualter Távora. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timmie Nyemanting in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseu Bragança saved Campus Douro Academy from getting behind. Gualter Távora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Bragança having to interfere. Amadeu Seabra hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Rodolfo Montay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ni Guang Yong was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. When Amadeu Seabra fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campus Douro Academy's protests and gave Amadeu Seabra a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Amadeu Seabra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute Timmie Nyemanting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Bragança saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes of play, Pinhote FC's Waldemar Rosen made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseu Bragança was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eliseu Bragança showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmie Nyemanting, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Campus Douro Academy were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timmie Nyemanting to strike the kick off in the second half. Pinhote FC's Ni Guang Yong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save Pinhote FC from getting a goal against them. Ni Guang Yong was out of position in the 50 minute of play, and Idalécio Rebelo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Idalécio Rebelo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The supporters of Campus Douro Academy booed when Pinhote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Beton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osmane Süleymanov took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseu Bragança. Eliseu Bragança dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Manuel Caetano kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Pinhote FC's Ni Guang Yong got control of the ball when Rodolfo Montay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Campus Douro Academy's Milosz Kissel was substituted for Rui Calçada. The corner ended in John Beton almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Campus Douro Academy's Eliseu Bragança did a great save. In the 78th minute, Campus Douro Academy's Milosz Kissel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Osmane Süleymanov might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliseu Bragança. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osmane Süleymanov ran back to his position shaking his head. Campus Douro Academy's Rodolfo Linhares was substituted for Godofredo Pepillo. Idalécio Rebelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ni Guang Yong having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Pinhote FC got a freekick which was hit by John Beton. If Milosz Kissel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acar Necati kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. André Pestana, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
