Mao Zhen Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Lixandro in the 6th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Lixandro in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mao Zhen Hong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mao Zhen Hong came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Victoriano Ubelteso. But to his dismay, Victoriano Ubelteso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 46th minute Raimundo Ventura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mao Zhen Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Academia Monte Gordo from getting a goal against them.
