Mao Zhen Hong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delfim Oliveira in the 9th minute. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Academia Monte Gordo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alcino Malafaia was slow to take the kick. During this time Lidador F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Amadeu Moura to score against Mao Zhen Hong in Academia Monte Gordo's goal. 1-0 after 11 minutes. Hüsamettin Civanmert in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mao Zhen Hong, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 19 played minutes Lidador F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hüsamettin Civanmert. If Christian Westerstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tamás Albert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Westerstrand in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Jago Back hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Westerstrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tamás Albert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delfim Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mao Zhen Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüsamettin Civanmert in the 38th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Lidador F.C.'s Mao Zhen Hong threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hüsamettin Civanmert, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 43 played minutes Lidador F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Teixeira. After 46 played minutes Lidador F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Oliveira. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hüsamettin Civanmert to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Lidador F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alcides Zambujal to maneuver through the defense. Hüsamettin Civanmert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Westerstrand might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tamás Albert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Westerstrand ran back to his position shaking his head. Boruc Brysz made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Lidador F.C.'s Mário Maia. Arana Ponta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tamás Albert having to interfere. Academia Monte Gordo's Fabrício Lustosa was substituted for Christian Westerstrand. Luciano Tiso came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tamás Albert could save by the left post. In the 81st match minute, Academia Monte Gordo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Matsson to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Lidador F.C. booed when Academia Monte Gordo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Matsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Lidador F.C. getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Alcino Malafaia hit a great ball. Fabrício Lustosa came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tamás Albert could save by the left post. With a little luck, Lidador F.C.'s Tamás Albert got control of the ball when Fabrício Lustosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Lidador F.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
