In the 22nd minute, Mariano Bladi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of António Trubin. The goal made the score 1-0. With a little luck, Sporting Clube de Gaya's António Trubin got control of the ball when Pes Torto tried to sneak it across the goal line. António Trubin made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Abel Castelo Branco sent off a good shot on target. António Trubin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pes Torto in the 36th minute.
