Nicu Ilieș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Azevedo having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Vicente Maia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valentin Bujor. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 10th minute, Vicente Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vicente Maia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Bujor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Sporting Clube Patrício were awarded a corner. Manuel Lages went to the cornerflag to take it. Vicente Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Vicente Maia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valentin Bujor. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Vicente Maia took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Valentin Bujor to make any attempt to save it. Octávio Bento got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Nicu Ilieș. The crowd rose to their feet as Vicente Maia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valentin Bujor. That made the score 4-0 in the 40 minute of play. A collision led to Sporting Clube Patrício getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Zeferino Cardoso hit a great ball. Ademar Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicu Ilieș in the 49th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

54 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Patrício's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Navarro came free, but Ademar Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Maia might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Bujor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Maia ran back to his position shaking his head. Valentin Bujor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Maia in the 56th minute of play. Ademar Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Peralta, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Magno Dias notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of D.P.Aarburg's Valentin Bujor. Valentin Bujor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rafael Navarro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ademar Azevedo having to make a save. 84 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper Ademar Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Navarro. In the 85th match minute, D.P.Aarburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octávio Bento to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute David Peralta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, D.P.Aarburg's Ilie Bucuță got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Manuel Lages sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and D.P.Aarburg's Valentin Bujor didn't even have to move. Ademar Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leal Castilho in the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the D.P.Aarburg players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sporting Clube Patrício.
