The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Chelsea Headhunters's Gonzalo Otsoko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keith Scotland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Blair McClure sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Gonzalo Otsoko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Keith Scotland. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. In the 11th minute, Joe McGeachin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Keith Scotland, passed just outside the right post. Matthew McKail took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo McNeish, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Chelsea Headhunters's goal looked a bit too open when Paddy McNeish came free, but Matthew McKail reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes Chelsea Headhunters got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Otsoko. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Gonzalo Otsoko put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Keith Scotland. In the 25thth minute of the game Gonzalo Otsoko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Floodish FC's Keith Scotland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Chelsea Headhunters's Yana Brolin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keith Scotland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th match minute, Chelsea Headhunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yana Brolin to maneuver through the defense. Keith Scotland was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gonzalo Otsoko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joe McGeachin got free with Keith Scotland in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Keith Scotland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzalo Otsoko's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 47th minute, Jeremy Mathie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gonzalo Otsoko made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Chelsea Headhunters's Alvaro Matxin got a free kick in the 54th minute. Matthew McKail stood somewhat misplaced when Paddy McNeish came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 55 minute. Matthew McKail made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blair McClure in the 57th minute. Keith Scotland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Otsoko in the 59th minute of the match. Keith Scotland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joe McGeachin's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo McNeish in the 63rd minute of play forced Chelsea Headhunters's goalkeeper Matthew McKail to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Gonzalo Otsoko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelsea Headhunters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Otsoko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chelsea Headhunters's Matthew McKail played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paddy McNeish in the 71st minute of play. Gonzalo Otsoko took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keith Scotland. Keith Scotland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Chelsea Headhunters's Karol Lampa was substituted for Gonzalo Otsoko. Karol Lampa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keith Scotland having to make a save. Keith Scotland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Lampa in the 80th minute of the match. Karol Lampa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Joshua Cumming managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelsea Headhunters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joshua Cumming was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chelsea Headhunters had won after a very even match.
