In the 9th minute, McNahas Clan FC's Taylor Gill ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tony McHarold. Tony McHarold yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 14 minutes into the game, Stewart McNayer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Port Edinburgh AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave McNahas Clan FC the free kick. Tyler McThomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mitt Bena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Moray in the 27th minute of the match. After 28 minutes McNahas Clan FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joe Mathie who took care of the corner kick. Port Edinburgh AFC's Eddie Baptist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mitt Bena in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tony McHarold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taylor Gill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Port Edinburgh AFC booed when McNahas Clan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremy Bontine didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Denis Morar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mitt Bena was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 44th minute Stelian Negru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony McHarold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

McNahas Clan FC were furious when Simon McAuslane was red carded, 51 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Mitt Bena had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Joe Mathie's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Mitt Bena had great luck who in the 53rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Denis Morar from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 2-1 became the score in the 55th minute when Stelian Negru elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Tyler McThomas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mitt Bena. Tyler McThomas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. 64 minutes into the match, McNahas Clan FC's goalkeeper Mitt Bena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Morar. If Denis Morar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Stelian Negru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mitt Bena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan McKerlich in the 71st minute of play. A hard shot 73 in the game by Tyler McThomas from a close distance when the talented Mitt Bena managed to make a qualified save. McNahas Clan FC's players were relieved. Ciro Baldassarre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Tony McHarold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alan McKerlich received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mitt Bena came out and tried to block the shot, but Alan McKerlich slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 81st minute. Tony McHarold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Negru in the 84th minute of the match. Stelian Negru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciaran McVinish kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Gazanfer Özcan Şehzat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony McHarold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
