Spectators: 10919 (Terracing: 8190, Seating: 2511, VIP seats: 218) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Loco Malo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lagrima en Jarrita's goalkeeper Loco Malo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Lore in the 24th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arquímedes Desira in the 25th minute of the match. Arquímedes Desira scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Selatse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Czeslaw Kopacz in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loco Malo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Lore came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Emiliano Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco Malo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Lore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Selatse having to interfere. Loco Malo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Czeslaw Kopacz in the 41st minute. In the 48th minute Szymon Pyrzyce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco Malo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Emiliano Velasco made the kick off in the second half. Loco Malo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Andreas Hellsing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Fernando Selatse made a huge save. The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when Lagrima en Jarrita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristide Ştefănoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toro Martínez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out.
