When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kraig Fred made a kick off. Diego Simeone hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Marcos Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Lore in the 56th minute of play. Filiberto Nisio hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Maximo Dei was slow to take the kick. During this time Estudiantes de América's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Maximo Dei almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lagrima en Jarrita's Loco Malo did a great save. Lagrima en Jarrita's Loco Malo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Lagrima en Jarrita from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Hellsing in the 78th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Estudiantes de América's corner Kert Roolaid fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Loco Malo quite easily take care of the ball.
