The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Kraig Fred got free with Tony Uchiha in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Virgiawan Laturua managed to get in a good position for a shot. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgiawan Laturua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Ranolfo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Douglas Byström made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Bert Homøe. The Estudiantes de América players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
