If Eusebio Fernendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfredinho Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Guzman in the 40th minute of play. Blas Guzman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredinho Gerber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 46th minute Blas Guzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to C.U.E. DE COMERCIO getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Isaac Incendio hit a great ball. After some careless play in the C.U.E. DE COMERCIO defense, Blas Guzman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredinho Gerber. The C.U.E. DE COMERCIO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredinho Gerber should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Eusebio Fernendo made the kick off in the second half. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save C.U.E. DE COMERCIO from getting a goal against them. Feng Xu Yong kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Daniel Bertoni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredinho Gerber made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Eusebio Fernendo sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goalkeeper Emanuel Podgoreanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 72nd match minute, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Guzman to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes Acercate Y Patea de Lejos got a freekick which was hit by Blas Guzman. 74 minutes into the match, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Romano came free, but Emanuel Podgoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Abechuco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Alfredinho Gerber made a huge save. In the 84th minute Teodoro Nikola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Podgoreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute of the match, Rosendo Gervaso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alfredinho Gerber saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ricardo Bochini hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Gervaso in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Francisco Taveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Podgoreanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Eliseo Abechuco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfredinho Gerber came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseo Abechuco slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 97th minute.
