Spectators: 10861 (Terracing: 8148, Seating: 2497, VIP seats: 216) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arnaldo Basajaun got the match started through his kick off. The attack was good, but when Arnaldo Basajaun in the 6th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A sloppy throw-in by Areion Koulpasis in the 8th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Jorge-Luis Valdivia. Mariusz Komornicki had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Roneixon Siqueira's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 11 minutes of play, Espigão Steamrollers's Roneixon Siqueira made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariusz Komornicki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roneixon Siqueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariusz Komornicki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roneixon Siqueira ran back to his position shaking his head. Mariusz Komornicki made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Roneixon Siqueira sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Basajaun came free, but Pablo Patrone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the match CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE got a corner. Espigão Steamrollers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jorge-Luis Valdivia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zé Pedro Peixoto tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Pablo Patrone. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute Arnaldo Basajaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Espigão Steamrollers's Thorstein Heinsmann managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Amadeu Pinho in the 36 minute of the game. Thorstein Heinsmann hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Basajaun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pablo Patrone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. When Arnaldo Basajaun came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Basajaun couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Basajaun in the 45th minute of play forced Espigão Steamrollers's goalkeeper Pablo Patrone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE made a substitution. Yu Quan Di replaced Amadeu Pinho. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roneixon Siqueira to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnaldo Basajaun took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Patrone. Pablo Patrone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Mariusz Komornicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Duarte in the 72nd minute of play. Pablo Patrone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Basajaun in the 73rd minute. Mariusz Komornicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Betão Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espigão Steamrollers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Betão Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Espigão Steamrollers's Tarcisio Galvão was substituted for Roneixon Siqueira. Mariusz Komornicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betão Duarte in the 80th minute of the match. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Vitório Barbosa was substituted for Walmyr Falcão. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE made a substitution. Walmyr Loyola replaced Arnaldo Basajaun. In the 85th minute of the match CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE got a corner. After 98 minutes of play, Espigão Steamrollers's Tarcisio Galvão made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariusz Komornicki was left in no man's land by his defense there! The CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
