A sloppy throw-in by Edgard de Lima in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pesqueira City's Izydor Ogrodowicz. 5 minutes into the game, Oliver Bierhoff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jeremias Orland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Pedro Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Oliver Bierhoff struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Jeremias Orland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ADM Taquaras. Jeremias Orland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Bierhoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliver Bierhoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeremias Moreno came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca. But to his dismay, Benjamin da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Pesqueira City's Jeremias Orland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales De Mileto in the 31st minute of play. Jeremias Moreno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 36th minute. Jeremias Orland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Bierhoff in the 42nd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin da Fonseca to strike the kick off in the second half. Jeremias Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 56th minute of play. Jeremias Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard de Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgard de Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oliver Bierhoff's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Orland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th minute of the game Edgard de Lima made a throw-in which Áron Bódog played forward. 79 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Rosa came free, but Jeremias Orland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Aparecido in the 79th minute of play forced Pesqueira City's goalkeeper Jeremias Orland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 played minutes ADM Taquaras got a freekick which was hit by Edgard de Lima. When Benjamin da Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Pesqueira City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin da Fonseca couldn't finish the play. Nestor Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jeremias Orland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute Doriva Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ADM Taquaras getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Nildo Rosa hit a great ball. A collision led to Pesqueira City getting a freekick after 97 minutes play.
